Copper suboxide, Cu4O
The olive-green precipitate produced by the interaction of solutions of potassium stannite and cupric sulphate appears not to be the Copper suboxide, Cu4O, or quadrantoxide, Cu4O, but a mixture of cuprous oxide and copper.
