Cupric dithionate, CuS2O6,5H2O
The triclinic pentahydrate Cupric dithionate, CuS2O6,5H2O, is precipitated by the interaction of solutions of cupric sulphate and barium dithionate. It is very soluble in water. The heat of formation of the pentahydrate from the elements and water is 268.4 Cal.
